What's on my FB wall?

Mai got a message that on this day, God wants her to know...
... that decision is only wishful thinking until you take that first irreversible step.

You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backwards is so much safer than step forwards, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough? Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

It's been a while since I last updated this blog. As you know, I've been busy authoring other blogs as they've been my bread and butter while I work from home. I've thought of deleting this free-hosted blog but the sentimental in me just can't because this has been my first ever home online and has been housing my random blurbs for four years now. I have thought also of getting this its own domain however, it's like christening a 40 year old man with a new name. It was known for this domain and it will remain until the day that it will take its final bow..that I couldn't tell when yet. Its glory days may be gone, reaching as high as PR4...even underwent tremendous web directory submissions and got tons of backlinks from other sites...but this will always remain a special one for me. Whenever I feel like reading about my wedding and pregnancy days, the archives never cease to bring smile to my face.

My eyes hurt. My back aches. I am yawning every 10 seconds or so. My body's yearning for the body already but I just can't go to call it a night because I still have a few tasks to finish. If only, I didn't play Bejeweled Blitz at Facebook earlier, if only I finished these tasks early on, if only I didn't procrastinate, I could have been lightly wandering in the dreamland by now. Yes, there goes the queen of procrastination again.

The husband has been working overtime for most of the days these past few weeks. He's home regularly by 9 PM this week much to his dismay because often, Asher is already asleep. Asher's regular sleeping time is usually 8 PM so when I find him so alert and up still by past 8, I try not settle him down yet so his Daddy can still see and play with him. Hubby says that instantly, the stress vanishes instantly upon seeing Asher. He's been so swamped with work lately and this makes me want to treat and sneak a little time off from his work so we can go to an out of town or even out of the country family vacation. Since we didn't have enough swimming getaways last summer, how does a week long stay at Azul Beach Hotel sounds? Azul Beach is one of the Karisma Group of Hotel’s five signature resorts and I heard great raves about it. Soothing treatments that pampers the body while lying on the white pristine sand of Riviera Maya, invigorating activities like deep-sea fishing, cenote diving or meditation classes, fabulous gourmet restaurants - that's my idea of a great getaway for the hardworking husband!

The A(H1N1) influenza pandemic is putting the whole world on high alert. Everyone's closely monitoring and on the lookout, all frightened brought about bythe tragic effect it caused in some countries like Mexico and US where hundreds died from it. There is no vaccine for it yet to prevent from having it so the best armor one has is a healthy body and proper hygiene. The secret they say is to religiously wash the hands and eat healthy foods rich in Vitamin C.

Earlier today, a friend of mine who recently gave birth sent a text message asking about Asher's baptism details last year. At the same time, she informed me that I'll be one of her daughter's godparents. I have a few godchildren, all are hubby's actually so the moment we got married, they also became mine. Technically, believe it or not, this is a first time for me and I'm excited. The christening will take place next month so as early as now, I have to start browsing online and consequently buy baby gifts for Baby Yui. The first shop that comes in my mind is Babynest.com. I've window shopped there previously and I find their baby and nursery essentials cute and amazing. Babynest.com has an array of adorable, personalized gifts for the parents and their bundles of joy.

Anyone who has a toothpick that I can stick in and prevent my drooping eyes from closing?

I only had 4 hours of sleep last night and was awake the whole day. Now it's 11:17 PM and my body's seemingly wanting to call it a night already but my blogs say, not yet. I still have a few tasks to be done..although, not yet due tomorrow but it's better if I finish them ahead of its deadline.

..a book by its cover.

You may find this house unappealing from the outside.

Hold your thumbs down sign because look what it got inside.

Don't you just love the bare yet simple, contrasting black and white look?

And look at the dining chairs, the colors match the grass outside. Perfect color combination inside and out.

I love the green basin and the black sink that looks like those zero radius sinks I found on the net recently. These sinks bring ultra modern look to the residential kitchen.

This, by the way, is called the Sinus House in Denmark designed by Cebra Architects.
