Silver Investment.

Investing in forex is either a hit or a miss. The stock market is never stable, the next thing you know your stock is hitting a jackpot or it could also be the other way around. Speaking of investments, the only or probably the most stable venture a businessman can have is precious metal investment such as silver. With the world demand for silver exceeding the annual production, there's no better time to invest than now. And there's no better market leader in precious metal investment other than the Monex Deposit Company. For 30 years, a lot seek their expertise in serving America's precious metals investment needs. So for your silver coins or ingots requirement, check their competitive prices and excellent and undoubted service.

Have You Ever.

Thank you Alpha for this meme.

Kava.

An online friend of mine will spend a two-month vacation in Hawaii starting mid-July. I told her to bring me Hawaiian souvenirs when she gets back such as a hula doll, kukui nuts, puka shells, mother pearl hibiscus & plumerias, ukulele or a hula skirt. She said she'll try to give me everything that's on my list plus the Organic Vegan Chocolate which is made from kava.

Kava is an ancient crop of the western Pacific (Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, etc) which pertains to the plant or the beverage produced from its roots. While it is known as a legal intoxicant in other countries, Kona Kava Farm grows 426 strains of Kava and extract the roots, powderize and market them as a safe herbal supplement. Kava can be mixed with water, fruit or vegetable juices and even be made into yummy delicacies such as chocolates and hoodia gordonii products. This so-called National Drink of Fiji is a herbal medicine against stress, insomnia and anxiety.

Techie Doc.

A doctor friend of mine is eyeing a smartphone. He heard about this free drug reference wherein a physician or any healthcare professional can easily and immediately access the information needed in prescribing drugs in relation to doses, side effects, and health plan coverage. This medical reference software by Epocrates Inc can be loaded on Personal Digital Assistants (PDA), smartphones, Blackberries and soon on iPhone devices. And this is the reason why he's wanting a Smartphone. He finds this reference very useful especially that prescribing decisions are always critical. And luckily there are techie gadgets such as these. These definitely make the physician's lives a lot easier. Who says doctors can't be techie too?

This announcement was paid for by Epocrates.

3 Weird Things.

I got this straight from Berna's blog. This is actually a tag but I decided to twist the rules since I just snagged this. Simply put, I wasn't tagged so I'm not passing this to anyone, unless you want to do this too. Instead of doing six, I came up with just 3 because that's all I can think of right now.

1. No matter how hot it is at night, I cannot sleep without a blanket covering my feet or if it's that really sweltering, there should be one on standby.
2. I have a penchant for anything glass (i.e. glass sink, glass furniture).
3. My comfortable position surfing the net at home is in an indian sitting position or lying on my tummy if on bed.

Invitation Maker.

I will be doing / digiscrapping once again Baptism invites. This time for my niece who'll be christened next month. I guess my Sister-in-law liked how I did Asher's invites last April. This will be my fourth time to create a baptismal invite: Simone's, Kisha's, Asher's then Kylie's. Hmmm, now I'm thinking, seems this is a good business opportunity..don't you think? I have enough stuffs and resources and all I need to do is think or research of new concepts and designs. I'll go check out those Quinceanera invitations shortly for inspiration.

So Hot!

I don't think that summer has already ended with the sweltering heat that we're still experiencing. It's already mid-June and there are still no traces or hints of the rainy season yet. It's so hot that it makes me want to go back to Club Manila East and take a dip.

Isn't the pool lovely? Such a nice place to chill with friends especially if there are pool activities and games to enjoy such as beer pongs. Check out the rules of the game and selection of beer pong tables that can be used at this site.

Insurance Talks.

Do you have a life insurance? I do. I got it since the first year I started working. I was actually clueless then what the term life insurance means but thanks to my very kind and fatherly agent (who later became a ninong on our wedding) and he explained to me well all the things I need to know especially the importance of having one early. I think I'm almost half way through paying my 12-year premium plan. I have started accumulating and earning dividends as well. I'm talking about my insurance because I've just paid my semi-annual dues.

Re-arranging.

I'll be clearing some cobwebs here shortly. Time to do some re-arranging of widgets, links and others. Will retain my theme and header for a longer time pa though.

Breast Milk Still The Best.

A breast feeding public reminder is being run on TV. The message goes like "a cow's milk is for a calf and same applies with the other mother-baby animals". So this should also go with human beings..that breast milk is for babies and not infant formulas which are commonly made from cow's milk. This got me thinking and wonder how do they alter a cow's milk to resemble that of a breast milk. I bet they're very carefully done so as not to include the effects of cattle supplies and chemicals took in by the cow.

Fully Paid.

Our savings accounts were holed big time today as I fully paid the travel package we're availing for our December family getaway. We're actually coordinating with the travel agent for days already and it was just yesterday that she's able to finalize our booking. We're travelling on a peak period so she had a tough time booking our roundtrip flights. We're still lucky that she got us a package within our budget range so I hurriedly settled the fees and beat the option deadline today given by Cebu Pacific. So there, I can almost feel the pristine white sand, the sea breeze, the cool water and the party mood down there. I can't wait.

Missing The Sims.

I miss playing The Sims on the computer. I was once addicted playing with this one several years back. Aside from simulating the daily activities of a virtual person living in a suburban household, constructing and designing their houses excites me too since it's as if I'm building my own dream house. I would use cheats to generate thousands of money so I can start the game with a big house right away and purchase expensive and big furniture (bath tubs, sala set, bedroom furniture, Pedestal sinks for the bathroom and all sorts of those household stuffs) and appliances. I'll try to find the installer and I might play with this game again.

Yummy Lunch.

Mom and Grandma arrived early this morning. They came from an 8-9 hour bus drive from the province up north. And for me, their arrival would mean a happy stomach because they have lots of native foods in tow: homemade longanisa, tinapa, tulya (a clam species that is good for breastfeeding moms, they say), tupig, carabao milk candies, and crunchy chicharon. And the happiest of all, of course, my overly delighted stomach. No I don't need Orovo to keep my body slim after digesting all these. In fact, I'm putting some extra weight since a lot has been noticing that I have started becoming too skinny.

Ouchie Toe.

I'm nursing a sore toe at the moment. Thanks to a careless lady who, I don't know if it's accidental, stepped on my right pinky toe. It would have been nothing on me but I was just pissed off and I couldn't get it why she has to wear dark vintage sunglasses inside an elevator. Is there a sun glazing above her all day following wherever she goes? What's worse is that she didn't even offer an apology. Rude..real rude, isn't she?

Finally Out.

Today's my last day at work as my terminal leave starts tomorrow. Technically, I'm still connected with them until June 11 but since I still have earned leave credits then I have to make use of it. So tomorrow I'll be officially a stay at home mom or I can also requote it as work at home mom since I have an online biz to make myself busied with. I'm also thinking of putting into business my digital scrapbooking interest to augment my online earnings. I can perhaps start with doing simple baptismal, birthday and baby shower invitations then venture into bigger projects later on. What do you think?
